1. The Suzuki Jimny has proper off road ability and a cutesy name…
2. Quite cheap at around $20k
3. Tiny proportions make it easier to drive in town than many SUV’s
4. Looks tough
5. While not outstanding, fuel efficiency is acceptable (especially compared to many other off-road cars)

5 Cons

1. Not really for use on road. It is slow, noisy and harsh
2. No safety rating, but my guess is that it would be far from 5 out of 5 stars (it does not even have traction control so cannot be sold in Victoria)
3. Only seats 4, in relative discomfort
4. Low ride hide does at times hamper its off road ability and the towing capacity is poor
5. If you must go a Suzuki, the 3 door Grand Vitara is not much more expensive, still works off road and much better (while still not being great)
